Use organic ingredients if possible. Note this is a sweet smoothie. Yummy!
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
1 banana
2 medjool dates pitted
1 Tablespoon flaxseed meal
1/2 cup of water
3/4 cup ice
(use more or less water/ice depending on your blender to keep mixture flowing)
Put all in a high speed blender and blend. (If you don’t have a high speed blender, use what you have however you will find that smoothies will not be as smooth….hence the word smoothie.)
Use more water if needed. This is a flexible smoothie.
Try different quantities according to your taste and texture preferences.
Optional: Garnish with nuts and/or fruits.

(A high speed blender like a Vita Mix or Blendtec is recommended if you plan to eat more raw foods.)
